| HDT Championship Series 2013 |
The Florida HDT Championship series is for Training and Preliminary drivers.
Competitors have five competitions to choose from, and the best 3 scores will count.
Competitors will compete in 3, 4, or 5 of the following competitions to qualify:

Scoring will combine scores from all three phases of competition. Competitors must successfully compete all three phases of competition at each show for scores to count.
For training level, scores will be dressage plus marathon penalties, plus cones score.
For preliminary level, scores will be dressage plus cones and marathon. Marathon will use an "average hazard" score plus any course penalties. The hazard times will be divided by the number of hazards to come up with a single, average hazard time for scoring in order to make all competitions, regardless of number of hazards, equivalent. |
