Reinsmanship Roundup Clinic

The American Driving Society continues to add to its fun series of Reinsmanship activities, with the newly introduced "Super Reinsmanship" and updates to old favorites such as Freestyle Reinsmanship and Reinsmanship in the ring class.

This clinic explores the new Reinsmanship rules of the game, and allows you to practice with your equine.  We will combine both classroom and practical experiences to learn all about the different aspects of reinsmanship, how you are judged, and how to play the games!

Schedule of Activities (pending weather issues - be flexible!)

  • 1:00 - Arrival, Registration, settle your equine
  • 2:00 - Clinic begins, Classroom (indoors).  We will cover:
    • ADS General Rules governing all Driving/Pleasure Driving
    • Reinsmanship in the ring, workoffs
    • Freestyle Reinsmanship
    • Super Reinsmanship (set pattern vs. natural course)
  • 4:00 - Practical:  Rotate Through Three Areas:
    • Ring Reinsmanship (everyone in the ring), plus workoffs
    • Super Reinsmanship A:  Natural Course (after course walk)
    • Super Reinsmanship B:  Set Pattern from Memory
